Zen Garden

Sculpture and Public Commissions

2008 245 (l) cm x 82 (w) cm

Distillation of the qualities of traditional Zen landscaping into a physically exuberant celebration of form and landscape dynamics, which also captures the contemplative, cerebral dimension of Zen landscape principles. The glass rock features were collected from all over the world – including Russia and Morocco.

Made of MDF, coloured glass, stone, resin, glitter, and fossils.

Shown at “Andrew Logan – An Artistic Adventure” (2008) at The Gallery in the Ruthin Craft Centre.

Photography by Sylvain Deleu.
